5 celebrity styles with boots

Having been a sneaker girl all my life, I had never realised what magic boots can do for you
until I went shopping for shoes online the other day and came across a pair of boots
that goes with, well, practically everything in my closet!

So began my fashion discovery. An epiphany, if you will.
How did I ever miss out on such incredibly versatile footwear?
I mean, just look at these 5 different celebrity looks and how their boots made all the difference!

1. Edgy

The first thing about boots is, they're sexy. I don't know what it is about them - maybe it's the leather,
the toughness of the material, that make them such a chic finish.
So if you're looking to pull out all the stops with boots,
channel your inner Erin Wasson and
pair ripped - seriously ripped - jeans, a loose sheer black top, a structured blazer with black boots.

Or, if you'd rather go edgy glam, make Erin's other look work for you too:

A dangerously sheer body-con dress with lace-up ankle booties? Absolute traffic-stopper.

2. Girly

Kate Bosworth knocks all competition out of the ballpark with this adorable back-to-school look!
From her snuggly pink knit sweater to her casual cool backpack, loose waves,
and, of course, those ankle booties. Not sure about the shorts, though.
I might go with something less baggy to balance out the top.

3. Edgy Girly

What comes between edgy and girly? Edgy girly, of course! And yes, it IS possible.
Look at girl-of-the-moment, Cara Delevigne, striking the perfect balance here.
In true Cara style, she toughened up that sweet blue baby-doll frock with
a pair of wedged biker boots and a structured jacket. The result is gold.

4. Urban chic

Look how effortlessly chic Miranda Kerr is,
in her Alexander Wang tweed long sleeve dress, Hermes black leather knee-high boots
and Givenchy black leather Antigona bag!

That amount of leather should make this look edgy, but the tweed softens the overall effect
and tones down the severity. The shape and cut of the dress also make the outfit modern
with clean, sleek lines. This is the epitome of the girl-about-town look.

5. Laidback

With loose layers and an outfit in neutral shades of white, grey and black,
a pair of flat knee-high boots are the perfect finish.
Doesn't Dakota Fanning look perfectly at ease here?

Now. Which celebrity's look shall I steal next? Ha!
