Review: Radiate Brighter Beauty Skin with The Body Shop

Dear friends,
We are in MARCH already! That's unbelievably fast!
Today I am going to share with you guys my review and short tutorial to a Radiance Makeup look.
Here are all of the skin care products that I have been using and makeup products I use to create the look;

Nutriganics Drops of Youth ($58.90) - Review coming up!
Star Product of The Body Shop as it is a hero product that has been selling well through the months!
Drops of Youth is one of the best sellers even though it was launched only last year.
8 in 10 Asian women now use Drops of Youth everyday with one bottle sold every minute.

Moisture White Shiso Whitening Serum ($50.90) - Review coming up!
A light serum with Shiso extract and Community Trade organic aloe that blends into the skin,
leaving an invisible non-sticky protective film.

Lightening Touch ($29.90)
This magic little wand gives light relief to dark circles and fine lines and instantly brightens the skin.
Contains ingenious little light-diffusing particles minimize fine lines and dark shadows.
You can try to work in on your highest point of your cheek and brow bones to add as a highlighter to lift your facial bone structures.

I was using 'Lightening Touch' shade 01 to cover my dark eye circle. The base colour is kind of mixture of pink and orange.
Colour 01 is closer to my skintone and colour no. 02 is more yellowish - it is a little bit too fair for my skin colour.

Btw, if you are my loyal reader, I am quite sure that you know, I am a big fan of this concealer!
I have been using it for more than 4 years already. It is smooth, easy to blend and it covers my flaw perfectly.
Most importantly, it is not greasy on skin and it keeps my under eye area hydrated.
The packaging is very convenient too! All you need to do is just to twist and apply.
The price is considered as reasonable too. I highly recommend this product.

Tips: Pat or dab the concealer evenly, do not rub it in.
The under eye area is extremely delicate. Avoid rubbing your eye area as it may creates wrinkle.
If you need to blend it with finger or use a brush, do it gently. =)

Watch this video? I use this concealer to cover my eye bag while creating the Audrey Hepburn look;

Now, move on to eye make up;

Shimmer Cubes in Blue Moon ($36.90)

Step one: Light colour all over the eye lid.
Step two: apply indigo blue above the crease, sweeping upward toward the brow
Step 3: Run brush over darker color and apply it along the lash line. Blend it!
Moving the brush in a half-moon motion from the outer corner of the eye inward toward the center of the eyelid.

I love how the shimmer cubes palette come in 4 shades of amazing colours that compliment each other.
Shades are Indigo Blue, Starlight Silver, Snow White and Midnight Black. It can be used together (as shown above) or separately!
Yes, you can use the starlight silver and snow white to further brighten or highlight your feature!
In addition, if you are a fan of shimmery shade, this is definitely a product that you have to check it out.
The colour is quite pigmented and buildable. I only need to swatch it twice to get the colour.
The eye colour is long lasting and beautiful!
As for the packaging, I find it a little troublesome. I need to take out all the cubes and open the cover one by one to use it.
Good thing about this is, if I have more than one shimmer cubes, I can move, mix and match them to create different look.
Price wise, I find it a little bit high. But, this is really a must-try product if you like glittery eye shadow.

All-in-One Cheek Colour in Ginger ($22.90)

This product is in my Top 12 favorite makeup product list HERE
This ginger colour is one of my favorite shades too! Not too dark, not too pink kind of pink and it is shimmery!
Good thing about using product that contains shimmer is it gives a natural glow. This blusher has very subtle and scattered shimmer.
I like my blusher to be a little bit of glow, but not harsh kind of glitter, and this all-in-one cheek colour is perfect!
It is smooth and easy to apply. The colour is buildable. I only need to apply max 3 layers to get the shade.
I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family!
